Northeastern University Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships Program is a two-year experiential program designed to advance lifelong learning and the education and training of Pharm.D. graduates. Critical to the success of the program is our ability to prepare Fellows to meet the ongoing workforce needs in various areas of industry.
Our program gives fellows an opportunity to work with our innovative biopharmaceutical industry partners while collaborating with Northeastern University faculty in professional and career development, service, scholarship, and teaching.
Our program provides a dynamic academic environment offering fellows the opportunity for a wide breadth of experiences:
Develop teaching skills through participation in our Teaching and Learning Seminar series
Facilitate small and large group didactic education in partnership with a faculty mentor
Create, present, and publish scholarly research through collaborative industry and university relationships
Engage with faculty who participate in various interdisciplinary
Network with area residents and other Northeastern fellows via professional development programs, teaching seminars, and participation on fellowship committees
In partnership with Northeastern University, Ipsen is offering a two-year Marketing & Operations PharmD fellowship based in Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities:
Brand Management and Commercial Experiences
Serve as product and therapeutic area expertise in Ipsen Liver
Understand the business ethics, regulatory guidelines, legal landscape and Ipsen policies that guide the Commercial teams
Develop presentation and verbal communication skills by participating in team meetings, conferences
Develop and execute above-market traditional and digital tactics including associated content, KPI development/tracking and associated platforms
Support development of annual strategic brand plan and tactical plan; collaborate with Cross Functional partners to gain input and alignment on key brand strategies, tactics and performance
Monitor, manage and execute PBC brand strategy, including positioning and messaging; recommend refinements and updates
Lead conception and development of key promotional tactics and materials in partnership with the agency of record and key cross-functional partners; materials may include creative campaign, core / interactive visual aid, brand book, digital content, and content for peer-to-peer tactics
Participate in the US Promotional Review Committee process as project owner
Organize and execute Field Advisory Board to gather feedback on relevant Elafibranor resources from Sales Representatives
Organize and execute cross functional Elafibranor Brand Team meetings
Guide the application of key insights to validate business opportunities and inform specific brand strategies and tactics to validate business opportunities, and inform brand strategies and tactics
Translate data and insights into brand messaging and storytelling, supporting development of brand performance presentations to leadership teams
Develop training materials for sales and home office teams
Rare liver Marketing Operations
Build out Marketing calendar, keep up to date, get inputs across marketing team into calendar and present at monthly team meeting to keep team updated across indications/core team
Work with brand teams to monitor Key Performance Indicators, measure and report and review monthly with Full Marketing team for reporting upwards. Support improved analytics reporting process working closely with analytics team.
Identify needs for Marketing and Field Teams. Effectively propose action plans to meet those needs with stakeholder endorsement.
Supports and leads special projects related to a variety of Rare business unit initiatives. Develops and supports communication efforts within and outside of Commercial Business Unit.
Supports and builds cross-functional relationships with key functional partners across the organization
Maintain the highest ethical and compliance standards, personally and throughout the marketing team. Handles and maintains highly confidential and sensitive information
Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited institution, eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Massachusetts.
Excellent oral and written communication, time management, and leadership skills, ability to work independently and take initiative on a variety of projects at the industry site and Northeastern.
